Field Pussytoes Groundcover

Antennaria neglecta

full sun to part shade. Native groundcover plant

As native as it gets! We sourced this plant from a field near the edge of our property where it was growing in pretty solid mats. Pussytoes is named after its flower which looks like cat’s feet, but it is grown more for it’s foliage. It grows in very poor, dry, compacted clay soil, and can take at least a half day shade. Host for the American Painted Lady Butterfly caterpillar. . North American native plant.

3″ pots $4, Quart pots $8
